Platform Support
Control node
Section titled “Control node”Run Sparkrun from a control node using Linux or macOS. Direct Windows support is not yet available; on Windows, run Sparkrun through Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).
Supported GPU hosts
Section titled “Supported GPU hosts”ColdSnap currently supports NVIDIA DGX Spark (GB10) only as GPU hosts.
NVIDIA drivers
Section titled “NVIDIA drivers”Both NVIDIA 580+ and NVIDIA 610+ drivers are supported. Their ColdSnap startup paths differ: the 580+ path rebuilds more GPU runtime state during restore, while the 610+ path can reuse initialized GPU state and skip more startup work.
NVIDIA 610+ delivers better startup performance in our benchmarks. We expect the next NVIDIA DGX OS release to include 610+ drivers.
